Refund policy
RETURNS
Purchases made at _JULIUS OFFICIAL STORE are eligible for return within 14 days of receiving the package sent from us. Customers who would like to return the purchase must contact ecommerce@julius-garden.jp within these 14 days to begin processing the return.
When writing an e-mail, please state your order reference number in the subject line, and please specify the reason for the return, whether it is a product exchange or refund request.
The customer will then be guided through the return process by receiving instructions.
Please allow 2 to 3 business days for us to review your case and reply.
To be eligible for a return, your return package must be sent back in the original packaging including; the original tags (included for each item) attached, and any included wrapping material used to protect the product.
The purchased item must be kept in pristine condition, with absolutely no damage or signs of wear.
If the package does not meet these requirements, your return will not be accepted and sent back to the customer at their expense.
All return processes must be issued and handled by the customer who made the initial purchase.
All return shipping costs, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and other charges associated with the return shipment are the responsibility of the customer.
Any costs incurred by _JULIUS OFFICIAL STORE in connection with the return process may be deducted from the final refund amount.
Original shipping charges, customs duties, import taxes, and any additional fees paid in connection with the original shipment are non-refundable.
Any additional fees or charges cannot be reimbursed.
We are not responsible for any return shipping items if they are damaged, lost, or stolen.
REFUNDS
The refund process will take 10 business days from the arrival of the returned item at our designated return address. Once we receive the package, we will thoroughly inspect the condition of the item and notify the customer with an approval or rejection (via email).
The refund amount will be credited back to the customer's original payment method of choice. Processing time of refund may vary depending on the customer's bank or payment service used when purchasing at _JULIUS OFFICIAL STORE.
Please contact your designated bank or payment service if the expected reimbursement amount has not yet been refunded back to your account (after 14 days since notification of approval or rejection).
EXCHANGES
Return for exchanges are only accepted for special cases (stated below). Please kindly review the terms before inquiring further.
Exchanges are only accepted if the purchased items arrive in a defective or damaged form upon initial delivery from _JULIUS OFFICIAL STORE.
Requesting to exchange to a different size or different color is only available if the same product (in a different size or different color) is in stock.

SALE
All items that were purchased on SALE (Discount) are non-eligible for return/exchange.
If a customer purchases an item online, and within 24 hours of placing the order the specific item, price has been updated with a new sale discount, the customer is entitled to receive the price difference. The customer will be refunded upon contacting ecommerce@julius-garden.jp.
Right of Withdrawal for Customers Residing in the European Union (EU)
Customers residing in member states of the European Union are entitled to the rights provided under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and Directive (EU) 2023/2673.
The provisions set out in this section apply to orders placed on or after June 19, 2026.
Withdrawal Period
You have the right to withdraw from your order and return the goods within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing any reason.
This right of withdrawal also applies to sale and discounted items.
Conditions for Withdrawal
To be eligible for a return, the item must be returned in substantially the same condition in which it was received, including:
- Unworn and unused condition
- Original tags attached
- Original packaging retained
- Proof of purchase provided
Where goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning, any resulting diminution in value may be deducted from the refund amount in accordance with applicable law.
How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
Customers residing in the European Union may submit a withdrawal request through the withdrawal form available on our online store.
Upon submission, an acknowledgement of receipt will be automatically provided by email.
Withdrawal requests may also be submitted by email.
Return Shipping Costs and Duties
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, customers are responsible for all costs associated with returning goods, including:
- Return shipping charges
- Customs duties, import taxes, and clearance fees incurred during the return shipment
- Any additional charges imposed by carriers, customs authorities, or other third parties in connection with the return
Please note that any duties, taxes, or import charges paid in connection with the original shipment may not be refundable by _JULIUS OFFICIAL STORE and may be subject to the policies of the relevant customs authorities or tax agencies.
Refunds
Once the returned goods have been received and inspected, you will be notified whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note that it may take additional time for your bank, credit card issuer, or payment provider to process and post the refund.
